Welcome to our Newsletter. We have plenty of exciting activities planned across the Nursery to make the most of the beautiful sunshine!
Baby Room
This month in Baby Room, we will be focusing on our new topic ‘Fairy Tales!’ During story time, we will be looking at different fairy tale story books before get creative and make our very own story props! The children will be using paint and glitter to create their very own magic wants and will also be making some tasty gingerbread men to eat!
The babies will also have the opportunity to get super messy in their play as they explore our ‘Goldilocks and the Three Bears’ porridge messy tray! There will be bowls, spoons and little fairy-tale figures for them to play with. How exciting!
Tweenies
This month in Tweenie Room, our focus ‘Transport!’ During circle times, we will be talking all about the different types of transport, from cars and busses to trains and boats, and will be discussing how we get to nursery using transport.
The children will also have the opportunity to get messy and creative in their play as they create their very own tire tracks picture by rolling different vehicles through the paint and across the paper. We will even be junk modelling our own forms of transport! We can’t wait!
Pre-School
This month in Pre-School, our focus is ‘Keeping Healthy!’ During circle times, we will be talking all about how we can keep our bodies and minds healthy through resting, eating nutritious meals and exercising and will also be discussing self-care.
The children will have a lot of fun taking part in an obstacle course together out in the garden. We will be running, jumping, balancing, throwing and so much more! In addition, we will be learning all about what foods are good for us as we decorate our very own healthy eating plates to take home with us. There’s so much to look forward to!
Reminders
*As the weather is forecast to be warm over the next few weeks, we ask that you please pack a sunhat in your child’s bag in addition to any personal Suncream if you would not like to use our stocked brands.
