Bebington Newsletter – March

March’s News

Welcome to our Newsletter. We have a lot of exciting things planned across the nursery to make the most of the beautiful spring time.

Babies

This month in Baby Room, our topic is ‘On the Farm!’ In addition to singing and story time activities, the babies will also have the opportunity to get super messy and creative in their play! We will be exploring in our ‘muddy pigs messy play’ and will also be making our very own ‘baa baa black sheep’ to go up on the wall!

Additionally, as spring has finally sprung, we will be going on some lovely walks to visit the animals at the local farm and will practise making our very best animal noises. I wonder what we’ll see?

Tweenies

This month, our topic is ‘Shapes, Colours and Numbers!’ We have plenty of fun and exciting activities planned for our Tweenies such as going on a shape hunt in the local park to look for squares, triangles, circles and so much more! I wonder what we’ll find?

The children will also have the opportunity to get messy and creative in their play as we explore and search for different shaped and different coloured objects in the jelly. We can’t wait!

Pre-school

This month, our topic is ‘Our Senses!’ We will be playing with and exploring a broad range of mediums and materials through sensory activities and will be discussing how they feel, smell and look amongst all our friends. There will be paint and shaving foam and so much more!

In addition, the children will have the opportunity to sing along to some of their favourite songs with a musician and will be able to use their sense of sound to listen. There’s so much to look forward to!

Reminders

*Please ensure that you bring in a winter’s coat, hat and gloves to make sure that your child is lovely and warm when playing out in the garden or when going on walks.

Thank you for your co-operation.
