February’s News!

Welcome to our Newsletter! We have a lot of exciting things planned across the nursery to continue to start the year in the best way we can.

Our topic this month is ‘Nursery Rhymes!’ During circle time, we will be singing and dancing along to some of our favourite nursery rhymes and songs, from ‘Old Macdonald’ to ‘Humpty Dumpty,’ and will using puppets and props to join in!

The babies will also have the opportunity to play and splash about in in our ‘I’m a Little Teapot’ water tray and will be getting very creative as they paint and decorate our very own ‘twinkle, twinkle little stars!’ It’s going to be fantastic!

Tweenies

This month, our topic is ‘People Who Help Us.’ During circle times, we will be talking about the various different professions that help us throughout of lives, from police officers to firefighters to teachers, and will be discussing our past experiences with them.

We also have plenty of role play and arts and crafts activities planned for the children to get creative and imaginative in their play. They will be making traffic light cakes and lollipop signs and will even get a visit from the Fire Engine! How exciting!
